Hi! I’m a Burmese-British Director and Assistant Director based in the UK. My route into filmmaking actually started in front of the camera, having acted in TV and film from a young age. Being a performer gave me an early insight into how a set works from the other side of the camera, and over time I became increasingly interested in everything that goes into bringing a production together. That curiosity naturally led me behind the camera and into Assistant Directing, where I found a role that combines my love of filmmaking with problem-solving, organisation and working closely with people. I enjoy being part of the process that turns a creative idea into something practical, while making sure the set remains a safe, collaborative and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. Creatively, I’m particularly drawn to stylised, character-led gothic and horror work, with a love for bold visual storytelling that pushes beyond standard realism. Alongside filmmaking, I also have a long-standing interest in music production, which has become another way for me to explore storytelling and sound.
